Some "FAQ's"
Can I book direct for a summer week?
No, you must go via our brokers/agents Cottages 4 You
Can I stay for more than one week
Of course, just let us have the dates you want
Can I stay for, say, one month
Yes, but you must understand this is a holiday let, you can not stay for a year!
Can I get Internet access from the properties?
No, not at present, although wireless via your mobile seems to work (but we cannot be help responsible should it not)
Do the properties have Satellite/Freeview
No, not at present. There are TV's, Video and DVD players
Are they suitable for persons with disabilities
The Old Bakery is wheelchair friendly (a ramp is available). The Old Post Office is suitable for people with limited mobility as it is all on one level with only two small steps.
How do I get there by public transport.
You really need a car, if you ask we can advise, but the final leg will have to be via a taxi from Kingsbridge or Chiilington.
How peaceful are they?
They are almost at the head of a dead end. Any traffic for the pub will probably park up before reaching them, so apart from the odd resident passing by (maybe 20 houses beyond us) you should not be troubled by passing traffic.
Are there any facilities outside, by example a patio or garden?
There is a shared courtyard, garden and viewpoint (please keep children under supervision).
Is there car parking?
Opposite against the sea wall there is plenty of free parking.
Laundry?
We have our all small laundry room on site with washing machine and tumble dryer. If you stay for more than one week we ask you to attend to all laundry requirements yourself. If you stay for over two weeks a set of bedding will be made available should you request it. Sorry but unless by prior arrangement you may not use the laundry on a Saturday.
Pets and smoking?
No smoking dogs allowed (or people for that matter), or none smoking pets.....
Check in/out
You may check in after 3pm, you are asked to vacate by 10am.
